Meet Your venture Guides

Our company is still owned and operated by its founders and continues to be supported by a consortium of talented artists, programmers and other experts.  Together we can offer a wealth of knowledge, skill and service to those looking for guidance with their Internet Venture.

Few know this, but Don and Al Gore invented the Internet! Just kidding, although Don was involved with the Internet, like Country Music, "before it was cool!"

Working in office and industrial network design in the 80's, he helped create several networking standards. So he understands how the Internet works.

As a software product manager in the early 90's, he helped market networked-based business systems. So he understands what people want out of their computers.

As co-owner of this current company since 1996, he knows what businesses want out of the Internet, and he shows them how to get it.

Read about his speaking and announcing work at his web site, DonGingold.com.

Kate is co-owner of the company along with Don, and while she participates in every aspect of the business, writing is her forte.

Every other Tuesday is Gnusday Tuesday, when Gnu Ventures sends out its GnusWorthy Tip. While Don and Kate collaborate on the details, it's Kate who fashions it into an understandable, enjoyable read.

Kate is also the author of several books and speaks to schools and community groups local history. Learn more about Kate at her web site, KateGingold.com.

Our Consortium

Gnu Ventures has partnered with many companies and talented individuals over the years.

As John Donne wrote, "No man is an island." When a project is too big for the two of us alone, we bring in anywhere from a single designer or programmer to entire companies so that the work gets done and the client is satisfied.

Regardless of who builds the web pages, Gnu Ventures remains in the planning and project management so our customer gets just what they need.
